Therefore this process began when OLevels and CSEs were abolished and replaced with GSCEs. Basically the problems go further than this however. It’s a well-known fact that the ‘OLevels’ and CSEs were replaced for two reasons. Examinations are dumbed down to this particular extent that many qualifications are hardly worth the paper they are written on.
